The Affordable Housing & Infrastructure Bond Public Oversight Committee will review relevant financial and operational reports related to the expenditure of Affordable Housing & Infrastructure (Measure KK, 2016) bond proceeds and provide reports to the City Council when necessary and evaluate the impacts and outcomes of bond expenditures on the bond measure’s stated goals, including social equity, anti-displacement and affordable housing.
The Committee will be comprised of nine members appointed by the Mayor and subject to confirmation by the City Council. The Mayor is seeking individuals who will representative the diversity of Oakland, including Oakland residents of low income communities of color, individuals with experience in financial management, fiscal audits, environmental justice, capital planning, infrastructure improvement, and affordable housing.
The Public Oversight Committee shall meet at least 4 times per fiscal year.
Members must take the Oath of Office and submit Conflict of Interest Filings (Form 700) at the time of assuming office, annually by April 1, and within 30 days of separation from this body.
