OakDOT is working on two projects in the Fruitvale neighborhood: the Foothill Boulevard Traffic Safety Project and Calm Fruitvale Streets.
OakDOT will be repaving Foothill Boulevard from 23rd Avenue to Fruitvale Avenue in 2028. We’ll also add safety improvements to this High-Injury Corridor. Visit the project webpage for more details.
The Calm Fruitvale Streets Project will improve walking and biking connections between schools, parks, and community spaces in the Fruitvale neighborhood. OakDOT worked with community members to create this route, and now it’s time to design the improvements! Visit the project webpage for more details.
