7th Street West Oakland Walk & Talk (Part 2)

Meet at 800 Market Street, near the corner of 7th Street and Market, at 10am.

Please join us for the 7th Street West Oakland Walk & Talk! We'd love to learn about your experience traveling on 7th Street in West Oakland and see what you think of the proposed 7th Street Connection Project designs. We'll walk on 7th Street between Filbert Street and MLK Jr. Way. During the walk, we'll take breaks to chat about the current state of 7th Street and listen to your valuable feedback on the proposed 7th Street Connection Project.

Please bring sun protection, comfortable walking shoes, and your valuable opinions. Water and snacks will be provided.

This will be the second of two 7th Street West Oakland Walk & Talk events. Here are the details for both events:

• 7th Street West Oakland Walk & Talk (Part 1) - Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 10am. We'll walk on 7th Street between Mandela Parkway and Adeline Street.

• 7th Street West Oakland Walk & Talk (Part 2) - Saturday, December 2nd, 2023 at 10am. We'll walk on 7th Street between Martin Luther King Jr. Way and Filbert Street. Original date was set for 11/18 but it has been rescheduled because it will likely rain on 11/18. If you or anyone you know who lives in West Oakland would prefer a different date/time for the Walk & Talk event, please let me know! We would be happy to plan for a time that works best for West Oakland residents.
