Oakland City Services Resource Fair for Small Businesses

The first ever City of Oakland Small Business Resource Fair organized by the Neighborhood Business Assistance Program will feature representatives from City departments and divisions relevant to Oakland small businesses, providing information and answering questions about business license registration, planning and building permits, Special event permits and process, free Crime Prevention through Environmental Design Assessments for businesses, help with hiring staff, and more!

Participating Departments include:

• Department of Economic & Workforce Development: Divisions of Business Development Division, Special Activities and Special Events Division, and the Workforce Development Division
• Business Tax
• Department of Workplace Employee Standards (Formerly Contract Compliance)
• Department of Public Works (Recycling)
• Neighborhood Services Division
• Department of Transportation
• Department of Planning/Building - Zoning
