Housing Workshop #3: You're invited to the third of four workshops on Oakland's Housing Element, the blueprint for housing the City’s residents, at all economic levels including low income and households with special needs. This workshop will include:
- A quick overview of the Housing Element and components
- A presentation on housing need and affirmatively furthering fair housing in Oakland
- Community discussion on strategies to address housing protections and preservation, including tenant protections, preserving existing affordable housing, creating more homeownership, and community planning.
Your input at this workshop will help guide development of strategies, programs, and actions in Oakland's Housing Element!
