11:30am to 3:00pm
The Howard Terminal Community Benefits Agreement Participant Orientation officially launched the CBA process.
The orientation began with an equity presentation by the City of Oakland's Department of Race and Equity Director Darlene Flynn, to provide a foundation for the equity-centered development of the Howard Terminal CBA. Participants also broke into CBA topic groups and began to identify the benefits that may be considered in the CBA.
This orientation was mandatory for participants who wish to be involved in the development and adoption of the Howard Terminal Community Benefits Agreement, which will be included as a component of the overall project approval process. A make-up orientation will be offered on Monday, February 10, 2020 at 5:30pm at the CSUEB Oakland Center in the Rockridge Room.
Event Type: Community Meeting
