International Trade Tools to Expand Your Business Panel & Workshop

The Cities of San Leandro and Oakland invite you to "International Trade Tools to Expand Your Business," an expert panel that will cover importing, exporting, and getting prepared to engage in international trade. The workshop, produced by the Cities of San Leandro and Oakland, will feature panelists from the US Department of Commerce, the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz), Matson Logistics, and the San Leandro Black Chamber of Commerce.

The in-depth discussion will cover topics such as:

• Using trade missions to identify partners
• Legally avoiding or deferring import taxes
• Evaluating capacity
• Financing international expansion
