Downtown Oakland Specific Plan East Jack London/Victory Court Community Meeting

This meeting of the Downtown Oakland Specific Plan (DOSP) was held on June 14, 2023 at 6:00pm

Join us online on Wednesday, June 14th from 6:00 to 7:30 pm to learn more about the City of Oakland’s Draft Downtown Specific Plan (DOSP) and to discuss the future of the eastern Jack London District and Victory Court area (Oak Street to the Lake Merritt Channel). City staff will present proposed changes, including zoning amendments that allow for increased housing density and a wider mix of land uses within the neighborhood, new policies to address sea level rise along the Estuary and Waterfront, and a proposal to reconnect 3rd Street with the Victory Court area to allow more extensive mixed-use residential and commercial development.
