Closing Reception for the exhibition, Black American Strip Quilts and their West African Textile Roots

The African American Museum and Library at Oakland invites you to a Closing Reception for the exhibition Black American Strip Quilts and their West African Textile Roots Join AAMLO and your neighbors at the closing reception for an exhibition of outstanding fiber art created by specialists on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean—master craftsmen from West Africa and master artists in the African American Quilt Guild of Oakland (AAQGO). At this gathering, we will honor the memory of Mrs. Ann Seals Robinson, the late president of AAQGO.
