Help Identify Persons of Interest in Connection to a Homicide
The Oakland Police Department (OPD) is releasing these pictures in hopes the community can help identify these individuals who were walking in the area prior to the homicide of Matheus Gaidos.
The shooting occurred on June 21, 2023, in the 400 block of 26th Street.
OPD and CrimeStoppers of Oakland are offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest in this case.

Background:
The Oakland Police Department (OPD) is investigating a shooting that occurred on June 21, 2023, in the 400 block of 26th Street, just before 6:30 PM. When officers arrived, they located a victim who sustained a gunshot wound(s).
Officers provided medical treatment to the victim until they were relieved by medical personnel. The victim was then transported to an area hospital for further treatment, but unfortunately, the victim was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
