On October 14, 2020, at approximately 12:37 p.m. Oakland Police Officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of 84th Avenue to investigate the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located three male adults (Oakland residents) suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
One of the males was pronounced deceased on the scene. A second male was transported to an area hospital and later pronounced deceased. The third male was taken to a hospital and is currently listed in stable condition.
Oakland Police Homicide Investigators responded to the scene and began the follow-up investigation into the circumstances surrounding the apparent shooting. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification to next of kin.
