On October 29, 2020, at approx. 2:30 PM, officers responded to the 2200 block of 13th Avenue on a report of a deceased person in a vehicle. Responding officers located an adult male in a state of decomposition.
Oakland Police Homicide Investigators responded to the scene and began the follow-up investigation into the circumstances surrounding the apparent shooting. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification to next of kin.
