Homicide Investigation in the 3200 block of 35th Avenue

The Oakland Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on May 26th, 2021, just after 12:00 PM, in the 3200 block of 35th Avenue. Officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a shooting. Once on scene, officers located a male adult victim, an Oakland resident, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound(s).

The Oakland Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on May 26th, 2021, just after 12:00 PM, in the 3200 block of 35th Avenue. Officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a shooting. Once on scene, officers located a male adult victim, an Oakland resident, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound(s).

Oakland Fire Department personnel and Falck ambulance crew additionally responded to the scene to provide medical treatment. Unfortunately, the victim died at the scene.

Oakland Police Homicide Investigators responded to take over the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death.
