On August 15th, 2020, at about 10:33 PM, Oakland Police Officers responded to the 6500 block International Blvd. to investigate a Shotspotter Alert. Upon arrival, a 19-year-old male Hayward resident and a 37-year-old female Oakland resident that had been injured during the shooting. The victims were transported to local hospitals. The male victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Oakland Police Homicide Investigators responded to the scene and began the follow-up investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
