On August 8th, 2020, at approx. 10:10 PM, Oakland Police Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the area of 1400 72nd Ave. Officers arrived on scene and located two male adults suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. One male succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene. The other male was transported to a local hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
Oakland Police Homicide Investigators responded to the scene and began the follow-up investigation into the circumstances surrounding the apparent shooting.
