Homicide Investigation in the Area of Mosswood Park

On February 14th, 2021, at about 7 PM, the Oakland Police Department received a report of a deceased male inside a tent at Mosswood Park. Oakland PD Officers located the male and found him deceased with traumatic injuries.

On February 14th, 2021, at about 7 PM, the Oakland Police Department received a report of a deceased male inside a tent at Mosswood Park. Oakland PD Officers located the male and found him deceased with traumatic injuries.

Oakland Police Homicide Investigators responded to the scene and began the follow-up investigation into the circumstances surrounding the apparent homicide. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification to the next of kin. Anyone with information can contact the Homicide Section at (510) 238-3821 or the TIP LINE at 238-7950.
