Oakland, CA – On Saturday, September 21, Oakland Public Works (OPW) and community volunteers will be outside hosting cleanups along creeks, waterways, and upstream areas to celebrate Oakland Creek to Bay Day 2024.
This year marks the 29th anniversary of Oakland Creek to Bay Day, which is held in conjunction with California and International Coastal Cleanup Day: one of the largest organized volunteer days in California, the nation, and 100 other participating countries. There will be 35 active project sites in Oakland where volunteers can lend a hand with trash removal, habitat restoration, tree planting, and beautification projects.
Volunteer event locations and details are available on our interactive map. https://www.oaklandca.gov/topics/creek-to-bay
