OPD Seeks Help in Solving the Homicide of Claijion Tolbert-Bundy
The Oakland Police Department (OPD) is asking for the community’s assistance in solving the homicide of Claijion Tolbert-Bundy, which occurred on November 20, 2021, in the 3900 block of Carrington Avenue. Tolbert-Bundy was 17 years old at the time of his death.
OPD’s Homicide Section is sharing photos of a person and vehicle believed to be connected to this case. The vehicle is described as a black Infiniti coupe with a loud exhaust (pictured above). The person seen next to the vehicle is also believed to be involved.

BACKGROUND:
The Oakland Police Department (OPD) is investigating a shooting that occurred on November 20, 2021, in the 3900 block of Carrington Avenue at 8:30 PM. Officers responded to the area to investigate a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they located a victim who sustained a gunshot wound(s). Paramedic personnel responded to the scene to assist. Unfortunately, the victim succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigators from the OPD Homicide Section responded to the scene to conduct a follow-up investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
