Dozens of children were taking part in a youth football practice on February 24, 2021, when a shooting occurred. Around 5:36 PM, the Oakland Police Department Communications Division received a 911 call stating the shooting happened at Concordia Park in the 2900 block of 64th Avenue.

On February 13, 2021, around 3:47 PM, Oakland Police Officers responded to the 10000 block of MacArthur Boulevard for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located one male victim (non-Oakland resident) suffering from gunshot wounds.

On February 23, 2021, at 11:46 pm, Oakland Police officers were on patrol when they observed a speeding Chevrolet Camaro traveling eastbound on International Boulevard at a high rate of speed. The officers observed the Camaro collide with a Ford Explorer, that was stopped at the red light, eastbound International Boulevard at the intersection of Seminary Avenue.
