The Oakland Police Department arrested Teaunte Bailey for his involvement in a robbery and assault of a 75-year-old Oakland resident. Today, the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office filed multiple felony charges against Bailey including murder.

On February 25, 2021, at approximately 300 AM., Oakland Police Officers were flagged down in the 600 block of 23^rd Street to investigate an unresponsive adult female on the sidewalk with head trauma.

The Oakland Police Department has seen an increase in carjacking’s citywide. Many of these incidents appear to be crimes of opportunity.
