On Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at approximately 12:25 AM, a patrol officer was flagged down in the area of Collins Street and Joe Morgan Avenue regarding a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.

On December 07, 2020, at approximately 7:49 PM, Oakland Police Officers were contacted by a motorist in the area of Enos Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard. The driver advised that he and the passenger had been shot.

The City of Oakland’s Housing and Community Development Department’s Rent Adjustment Program (RAP) administered its first “pulse survey” to assess the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic had on tenants and property owners from late March to September 2020. The survey was designed to capture a snapshot, or pulse, from Oaklanders as they manage through the pandemic.
