The City of Oakland experienced large crowds during a three-day period, August 26, 28, and 29. The crowds were violent, destructive, and displayed hostility towards our community members and police officers. Several of our vulnerable businesses and civic facilities were targeted and damaged.

On Aug 27, 2020, at about 08:36 pm, Oakland Police officers responded to the 1100 blk of 76th Avenue regarding a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds.

2200 block of 35th Avenue homicide suspect both

Oakland, CA — The Oakland Police Department requests assistance from the media and the community in identifying homicide suspects. Investigators have released photos of the two individuals they believe are connected to a homicide that occurred on August 1, 2020, at 2:50 PM, in the 2200 block of 35th Avenue.
