The Oakland Police Department (OPD) is investigating a negligent discharge of a firearm that occurred on January 10, 2023, just before 7:45 PM, in the 3000 block of Broadmoor View. Patrol officers were dispatched to the area to investigate reports of multiple gunshots. As units arrived on scene, the gunshots continued.

Today, the Oakland Police Department (OPD) held its first annual “Toys for the Town” holiday celebration. As part of OPD Acts of Kindness and in the spirit of the holiday season, OPD staff made the holidays a bit brighter for Oakland families.

The Oakland Police Department (OPD) is releasing these photographs and video in hopes the community can help identify the individuals in connection with a commercial burglary. The incident occurred on December 19, 2022, just after 4:15 AM in the 3200 block of Martin Luther King Way.
