Over the last several months, Oakland and several other Bay Area cities are experiencing a significant increase in Rolex watch robberies. The Oakland Police Department (OPD) has investigated more than 20 of these types of robberies this year. In most cases, the armed individual(s) approach and forcibly remove the watch from the victim’s wrist.

Missing Person Natalia Perez Rivera: At Risk Due to Age

The Oakland Police Department is requesting assistance from our community and media partners in locating Missing Person, Natalia Perez Rivera, who is at risk due to age.

Perez Rivera was last seen on August 13, 2022, around 10:30 AM, in the 2200 block of 48th Avenue.

She was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with an Adidas logo, black sweatpants, and black Crocs shoes.

Perez Rivera is described as a 14-year-old, Hispanic/Latin female. She stands 5’05”, weighs 155 pounds, and has black hair, and brown eyes.

Perez Rivera’s family reports she is in good mental and physical condition and may have been headed to Washington Square Park in San Francisco.

The Oakland Police Department (OPD) arrested Major Willis and a juvenile for their roles in the homicide of Kon Fung of Oakland. On July 17, 2022, Fung was shot and killed in the 2000 block of 13th Avenue. Tips from our community members and the diligent work of our Homicide Detectives led to both being safely taken into custody on August 9, 2022.
