The Oakland Police Department would like to make the public aware of an attempted sexual assault that occurred on October 9, 2020, at approximately 7:50 AM, in the 700 block of Prospect Avenue.

On October 2, 2020, at about 11:22 p.m., the Oakland Police Department was dispatched to the 2100 block of MacArthur Boulevard regarding a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene.

On September 30, 2020, at about 1:00 a.m., the Oakland Police Department was dispatched to the 2000 block of Wood Street regarding a report of a possible dead body.

On September 28^th, 2020 at about 10:41 p.m., the Oakland Police Department responded to the 9800 Block of Sunnyside Street to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.

On September 28^th, 2020 at about 10:15 p.m., the Oakland Police Department responded to the 1700 Block of Church Street to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.

On September 27, 2020, at approximately 3:40 p.m., the Oakland Police Department responded to the 5800 block of Elizabeth Street on reports of gunshots.

On September 26, 2020, at approximately 9:46 p.m., the Oakland Police Department responded to the 700 block of Center Street on a ShotSpotter activation. Officers located a scene with no victims.

On September 25^th, 2020 at approximately 10:40 p.m., Oakland Police Officers responded to the 9700 block of Edes Avenue. on a report of a shooting.

On September 25, 2020, at approximately 09:30 p.m., the Oakland Police Department responded to the 1700 block of 65^th
Ave on reports of gunshots.

On September 24^th, 2020, at approx. 4:30 pm, Oakland Police Officers responded to the 1400 block of 77th Avenue on a report of a shooting.
