On December 12, 2020, The Oakland Police Department was notified of a shooting in the 7400 block of Hillside Street. The female victim, an Alameda resident was persuaded to come to Oakland by her partner. Once the victim arrived, the female suspect ambushed her partner, firing multiple rounds into the victim’s vehicle. At least one stray bullet entered a nearby home nearly striking a teenage boy was playing video games. Thankfully, no one was injured.
A preliminary investigation was conducted by Oakland Police Patrol Officers and Special Victims Section, three firearms were recovered. The Alameda County District Attorney Office charged the suspect with multiple felony counts related to assault with a firearm.
