This projects runs from E 12th St / 2nd St to 54th Ave and International Blvd / 54th Ave to 85th Ave.
This Bikeway runs from 14th St in downtown to Broadway near the Caldecott Tunnel
The Oakland Rain Barrel Program was a three year initiative (2010 - 2012) that provided subsidized rain barrels to Oakland residents, schools, churches and nonprofits.
Former creeks, now buried in culverts, are memorialized by a series of bronze relief sculptures embedded into sidewalks at locations above these culverts. The pieces portray stepping stones surrounded by native fauna that inhabit the creeks such as Rainbow Trout, Pacific Chorus Frogs, California Newts and dragonflies. Each site features five bronze “stepping stones” inviting the visitor to step across as if crossing a creek.
Improving water quality in Lake Merritt, especially by reducing trash and increasing dissolved oxygen levels
Several project funded by Measure DD are located within Lakeside Park.
The intersection of 20th Street, Lakeside Drive, and Harrison Street adjacent to Snow Park was not friendly to pedestrians or park users. The Lake Merritt Master Plan called for this intersection to be reconfigured to calm traffic, create safer pedestrian crossings, add bike lanes, and increase park space. This work was completed in 2019.
The project features improved visibility of the creek, an ADA-accessible interpretive pedestrian pathway, enhanced native rainbow trout habitat, new native trees and vegetation, and a new public restroom. This site will offer creek-related educational opportunities while improving water quality and flood control, creating habitat, reducing erosion, and protecting the adjacent roadway and homes.
The Oakland Waterfront Trail is a part of the San Francisco Bay Trail, a planned 500-mile network of bicycle and hiking trails that will form a continuous ring around the Bay.

The renovation of St. Andrew's Plaza is complete.
Bikeways within two miles of the MacArthur BART station improve east-west bicycle access between MacArthur BART, the Piedmont Ave neighborhood, Kaiser Hospital and Emeryville, and connect to the bicycle and pedestrian path across the eastern span of the San Francisco Bay Bridge.
