Ava Community Energy

Ava Community Energy (formerly East Bay Community Energy) is Oakland's public electricity provider. The City of Oakland helped found Ava in 2016, and has been using Ava’s clean energy since 2018. All residential, municipal, and commercial accounts in Oakland are automatically enrolled in Ava’s Bright Choice service.
