Construction and Demolition Recycling Requirements

Requirements

Oakland requires all Oakland projects with a building permit to recycle:

• 100% of all inert materials (including but not limited to concrete, asphalt, soil, stone, and fines), and
• 65% of all other materials

Affected Projects

• All Oakland building permits

Required Forms for Affected Projects

• A Green Halo Recycling Plan (also called WRRP) that shows how the project will salvage and/or recycle 100% of inert debris, and at least 65% of all other materials. WRRPs must be submitted online.
