Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides City of Oakland employees and their families with free resources.

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides City of Oakland employees and their families with free resources. Help from the EAP can address personal and work-related problems. City employees and their families can use these services confidentially.

Services include:

  • In-person counseling
  • Substance abuse treatment
  • Free legal advice and referrals
  • Financial services

The Department of Human Resources Management (HR) has contracted with Claremont EAP to be our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider.
