California Mortgage Relief Program

Statewide program for owners struggling with missed mortgage payments, late property taxes, loan deferrals, partial claims, or other pandemic-related financial hardship.

Alameda County Foreclosure Prevention Program for Small, Low Income Property Owners

Countywide program provides financial assistance up to $75,000 to eligible small, low-income property owners who are at risk of foreclosure, or are in foreclosure, as a result of nonpayment of rents during the COVID-19 pandemic and during the period of the Alameda County Eviction Moratorium, which ended on April 29, 2023.

In February 2024, the Alameda County Foreclosure Prevention Program (FPP) expanded its eligibility guidelines to provide financial assistance to more Landlords and Homeowners in Alameda County who were negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
