Remembering Keith . . . by His Mother
Keith M. Harding II was born May 7, 1983. He was murdered April 9, 2013. The second of my three sons, Keith was a loving, generous, caring young man with a huge heart of gold. He was extremely smart and excelled in math and science.Keith could discuss anything from the Trilateral Commission and the Bilderberg Group to the history of Imhotep – to the point that I had Google on standby! At six-foot-four, he was my gentle giant. Little kids always gravitated to Keith. He loved to play with his nieces and nephews. Keith was a homebody and enjoyed being with his family. He also had a talent for art. At 13, Keith discovered music. He taught himself to play the piano. Once he perfected his craft, he began to create beats and lyrics and started to write music. At the time of his death, he was teaching himself to play guitar. Last but certainly not least, he and his brother rescued abandoned or abused animals. For several years, beginning when he was in high school, at least twice a week I would come home from work to find Keith and his brother bathing a dog in the back yard or making a bed for kittens. Eventually, I connected with a friend who ran an animal rescue place. Thanks to Keith many lives were saved. The world lost a beautiful soul April 9, 2013 and my heart breaks forever.
