Discipline Matrix Ad Hoc Committee

The Discipline Ad Hoc committee is responsible for reviewing and providing guidance on the Oakland Police Department’s Discipline Matrix to ensure it aligns with the objective of fair and consistent disciplinary practices. The committee works to ensure that the matrix, associated policies, and resulting disciplinary actions reflect contemporary industry standards for progressive discipline. This includes recommending updates, possibly reviewing cases for adherence to these standards, and ensuring transparency and accountability in the disciplinary process.

Get Information and Assistance For Servcies

Information and Assistance (I&A) Specialists are available at the Senior Centers to connect and refer older adults to resources like housing, food programs, utility assistance, etc. This service is open to all persons 60+. Contact your local Senior Center to meet with an I&A Specialist in-person or by phone to discuss your individual needs.
