Bank on Oakland

Bank on Oakland works to make banking more accessible to Oakland
residents who currently have no checking or saving accounts.Without
access to banking services, people are forced to rely on high-cost check
cashers and paying hundred of dollars in fees each year just to cash
their checks and pay bills.

Oakland Families Building Wealth IDA Program

City of Oakland’s Helping Working Families Initiative is proud to announce the launch of its new Oakland’s Families Building Wealth Pilot IDA Program. For every $2,000 you save, AC-OCAP will match with up-to $4,000.

ARRA Programs

Using CSBG American Recovery and Re-investment Act 2009 (ARRA) funds, AC-OCAP expanded its existing training and employment opportunities with its funded agencies by piloting an intensive training and transitional employment program, creating employment opportunities for Oakland’s hard to serve low-income residents.
