The Oakland ROCKS Committee, the employee-driven appreciation committee, plans employee appreciation and recognition events throughout the year. Oakland ROCKS is committed to planning events that foster a healthy workplace culture. We hope to cultivate employee engagement by celebrating each quarter.

Rent Registration Forms

What Are Democracy Dollars?

The Democracy Dollars Program offers a new way for Oakland residents to participate in local government by supporting campaigns and/or running for office themselves. Democracy Dollars are certificates that Oakland residents can give to participating candidates to help support their campaigns. The Democracy Dollars Program is expected to launch beginning in the 2026 election cycle.

Campaign finance statements mandated under state and local law are filed electronically with the Public Ethics Commission and are accessible in datasets on OakData.

Failure to Intervene Police Personnel Records

By law, the public has a right to records relating to the report, investigation, or findings of a sustained finding that an officer failed to intervene against another officer using force that is clearly unreasonable or excessive.

Excessive Force Police Personnel Records

By law, the public has a right to records relating to the report, investigation, or findings of a sustained finding involving a complaint that alleges unreasonable or excessive force.

Sexual Assault Police Personnel Records

By law, the public has a right to any record relating to an incident in which a sustained finding was made by a peace officer engaging in sexual assault or sexual misconduct with a member of the public.
