Oversight of Measure BB and VRF

​The Alameda County Transportation Commission's Transportation Expenditure Plan (TEP) is a 30-year plan that includes strict accountability measures to ensure all funds are spent on approved projects. It requires an open and transparent public process to allocate the funds.

OYC Civic Engagement

Oakland Youth Vote is a critical opportunity to extend the right to vote in school board elections to 16 and 17 year-olds! Vote YES on Measure QQ! The Oakland Youth Vote Coalition comprises of the following community organizations: All City Council, AYPAL, Californians for Justice, Oakland Kids First, Oakland Youth Commission, and Youth Together. We all work together to implement Measure QQ and empower our youth to vote for change!

OYC's Love Our People Trail of Knowledge and Liberation

We are excited to announce a youth and adult-ally led community project to promote belonging and anti-racism in Oakland through knowledge and liberation. This project was hosted by Oakland Youth Commission in collaboration with our community organizations.

Park Lawn Mowing Schedule

Parking Enforcement: Automated License Plate Readers

According to Oakland Municipal Code 9.64.030, Section 2C, “City staff shall make the Surveillance Impact Report and Surveillance Use Policy, as updated from time to time, available to the public as long as the city uses the surveillance technology in accordance with its request pursuant to Section 9.64.020 A.1.” The Surveillance Use Policy and Surveillance Impact Report for ALPR for Parking Management and Enforcement documents are available on this page.

Parklet Program

Parklets are platforms that convert on-street parking spaces into vibrant community spaces. Parklets expand seating capacity at adjacent restaurants, businesses, and community-based organizations.

Participating Lenders

Contact a community loan officer at one of our Participating Lenders to determine if you qualify for the MAP or CalHome program, the purchase price of the home, and to pre-approve you for mortgage financing.
