Request for Qualifications: Violence Intervention and Prevention Services for FY 2022-2024


The City of Oakland's Department of Violence Prevention is pleased to release a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for an initial one-year period, July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023, which can be renewed for a second year based on grant performance and availability of funds.

The City seeks qualified agencies to form a network of community providers and system partners who strive together to support people at the center of violence. This RFQ covers the funding strategy areas outlined in the Department of Violence Prevention FY 2022-2024 Spending Plan.

RFQ Materials

This RFQ will provide up to $20,000,000 for violence intervention and prevention services that are funded through Measure Z, City of Oakland General Purpose Funds, and other state and federal funding.

Contracting

The City requires all applicants to fill out several forms to ensure compliance with local ordinances and laws. The following forms should be submitted with proposal submissions:

Questions

Questions regarding the proposal process can be submitted by e-mail to OaklandDVP_RFQ@oaklandca.gov. The deadline to submit questions is Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 5:00p.m. Individuals will receive a response to their questions within five (5) business day. Questions will not be taken by phone.
