The Wastewater Engineering Management Division is responsible for the design of the wastewater collection system. The division delivers major capital repairs through the annual $23 million Capital Improvement Program. Through asset management of the sanitary sewer collection system, the division provides planning, development, and implementation of the City’s infiltration/inflow reduction program, and provides technical support for the City’s Sanitary Sewer Overflow reduction program.
Wastewater Engineering Management Division manages the Private Sewer Lateral Program. The division schedules and inspects sewer lateral construction. Sewer Lateral Permits can be applied through Engineering Services, a part of OakDOT.
