The Oakland Fire Department (OFD) wants to help local merchants be prepared. The OFD can help your business prepare for disasters and test your emergency response systems. We work with groups including the Oakland Chamber of Commerce and the Oakland Merchant Leadership Forum.

The Oakland Fire Department wants to help businesses:

  • Develop a strategy to minimize damage and lost time following a disaster.
  • Identify their risks.
  • Identify critical business functions and prioritize recovery timelines
  • Determine alternative operational locations if their primary location is not available.
