SUBSCRIPTION NOTICE – CITY COUNCIL DATE

Dear Property Owner,
A Subscription notice dated October 30, 2023 or September 5, 2023, was mailed to you by the Citywide Liens Section due to Waste Management Inc. identifying that your Waste Management garbage account was delinquent or not paid to Waste Management Incorporated by the due date. The notice stated that “A postcard of the Public Hearing date will be sent to you once a date has been confirmed by Oakland City Council.” The date for the Public Hearing to hear this item is July 16, 2024, at 1 Frank H. Ogawa Plaza City Council Chambers. The Public Hearing will be both in person and via Zoom. Please see https://oakland.legistar.com/calendar.aspx for updated meeting times and Zoom information. There will also be parallel meetings conducted by City of Oakland staff and Waste Management using the Zoom link below, and in person in Hearing Room two (2).
If you have already remitted your payment for the MGS Subscription invoice, please disregard this notice.
In the interim an additional administrative hearing will be provided to all affected property owners with another opportunity to present proof of payment made to Waste Management before the due date. The additional administrative hearing will be conducted on April 9, 2024, from 9am to 12 noon via Zoom.
