Write a letter notifying the City of Oakland of your intent to sell and email it to loanservicing@oaklandca.gov or mail it to the Loan Servicing Unit at the address below:

You will receive a response from the City of Oakland including:
- Current income limits
- Description of the property's resale restrictions
- Current maximum sales price
- Application forms for potential buyer
- List of required documents to be submitted to determine eligibility of prospective buyer
Please note, the City of Oakland will only verify the potential buyer’s eligibility for the property once the buyer is in contract to buy the property. The seller’s real estate agent will need to work with the buyer’s agent to get the required documentation from the buyer.
