Joseph Micallef

Joseph Conner Micallef is a policy analyst at the Office of the Inspector General. The son of a plumber and an elementary school custodian, he was born in Michigan and grew up in suburban Phoenix. He received his Bachelors in Political Science with a minor in Computer Science from Michigan State University in 2018 and his Masters in Public Administration from the University of Washington – Seattle in 2020. After graduating he spent time working for the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission, the Ohio Department of Medicaid, and the City of Rockville Department of Housing and Community Development. In both college and his professional life Joseph focused heavily on program and policy evaluation with a particular emphasis on the evaluation of program and policy outcomes. In his free time he enjoys keeping up with local news and trips to the tattoo studio.
