The City of Oakland's Sustainability team is working with community partners in an extensive citywide public education campaign about building electrification, popping up at farmer's markets, cultural events, and hosting clinics where residents can get direct access to energy efficiency and electrification resources. As Oakland continues on the bold path of decarbonizing buildings, this page will be updated with upcoming events and workshops as well as materials from past engagements. If you or your organization would like to partner with our team, contact us at climate@oaklandca.gov If you would like to give us feedback to help us understand electrification barriers and opportunities in Oakland buildings, click here to fill out our survey.
