Environmental impacts of the policies, programs and actions contained in the Draft Downtown Oakland Specific Plan have been analyzed in the Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR). The City solicited comments on the sufficiency of the EIR in discussing possible impacts on the physical environment, ways in which the potential adverse effects might be minimized and alternatives to the project in light of the EIR’s purpose to provide useful and accurate information about such factors.
The City requested comments on the Draft EIR at the following two public hearings:
- September 23, 2019 Landmarks Preservation Advisory Board, 6pm, Council Chambers, City Hall
- October 2, 2019 Planning Commission, 6pm, Council Chambers, City Hall
The EIR Response to Comments was published on May 1, 2024.
