Negotiated Settlement Agreement (NSA) Ad Hoc

The NSA Ad Hoc is tasked with: (1) Representing the Commission in all deliberations and discussions with other stakeholders pertaining to the Sustainability Period and efforts to resolve Court oversight; (2) Reviewing the status of OPD compliance with NSA Tasks 5 (investigations) and 45 (racial disparity in discipline) and make recommendations as to any policies that may be required to achieve compliance in these areas,; and (3) Recommend policies and actions required to ensure that the constitutional policing mandated by the NSA continues beyond the Sustainability Period.

Oak Knoll Mixed Use Community

The Project site is located in the South Hills area of Oakland and is bounded by Mountain Boulevard/Interstate 580 to the west, Keller Avenue to the north and east and Sequoyah Road to the south.

This team's objective is to transparently share race and equity efforts at the City's Department of Transportation and hold the Department accountable for race and equity issues in transportation.

Oakland 2045 General Plan | Planning Code Amendments for Phase 1

These planning code amendments are intended to implement actions in the 2023-2031 Housing Element's Housing Action Plan, further fair housing, advance environmental justice, remove constraints to staff ability to process entitlements for housing development, and streamline the approval process.
