Truck Management Plan Progress

Implementation of the Truck Management Plan (TMP) started in July 2019. Below is a summary of OakDOT's work on the TMP Strategies.

TMP Strategy 3 Update to Truck Route Network (work ongoing)

April 2022: Truck Route Changes Not Adopted by Council
Proposed Updates to Truck Routes:

TMP Strategy 7 Improve Training for Issuing Parking Tickets

In 2022, Parking Enforcement staff were trained on 2022 updates to parking regulations in West Oakland
Parking Enforcement Staff will procure an additional vehicle license plate reader via the West Oakland STEP grant by 2026

TMP Strategy 8 Change Parking Regulations (completed)

April 2022: Parking regulations were updated to limit trucks in West Oakland
