Fluent in both English and Spanish, Karely brings a unique perspective to her work, fostering inclusivity and representation across diverse communities.
With a background as a seasoned chief of staff for over 5 years, Karely is adept in executive leadership, strategy development, business development, stakeholder engagement, fundraising, and project management. Her proven ability to cultivate strategic partnerships and align teams for maximum impact has been instrumental in driving positive change in various sectors.
Currently serving as the Vice Chair of the Oakland Police Commission, Karely is dedicated to promoting transparency, accountability, and equity within law enforcement. Through her leadership and advocacy, she works tirelessly to ensure that the voices of marginalized communities are heard and respected in the decision-making process.
